My Bold 4-Step Formula to Work 30 Hours a Week So You Can Finally Flourish

Workshop on productivity and work-life balance by Full Focus in a cozy, well-lit setting.

The 12-Month Mastermind for Women CEOs Who Are Done Doing It Alone

Early in my years as a business owner and CEO, I met Shannon.

Our kids went to school together and I could tell we might have some things in common. That turned out to be an understatement.

We both had five kids, a few of them in the same school. We’d both grown our families through adoption around the same time. We shared our faith and lived just miles apart. We were both married to men named Joel—yes, really. And we were both navigating the particular loneliness of being women running businesses in a season of life that didn’t come with a manual.

Our businesses were in completely different industries, but that didn’t matter. We started walking together a couple of times a week, and those conversations were unlike anything I’d had before. Things I’d never been able to talk about with anyone—like whether we wanted to build to sell and what that would actually take, the challenges of partnership and succession, how to handle a tricky HR situation that I couldn’t discuss with my team, and other big, weighty decisions and problems.

With Shannon, I didn’t have to explain myself first. She already got it. We traded war stories, secret fears, and victories too big to celebrate publicly without any of it getting weird.

It was a gift I hadn’t even known I needed.

Support, Encouragement, and Understanding

Shannon introduced me to a coach named Les who gave me a real operating framework for leading as a CEO—how to get clear on where to invest my time, what I absolutely had to delegate, and how to actually make the handoff stick. That monthly cadence with him changed everything and shaped my leadership and decision-making for years to come.

Both things mattered. A lot. I absolutely wouldn’t be where I am without their support and guidance.

But I kept thinking: What if I hadn’t had to find them in such an ad hoc, serendipitous way? What if I hadn’t found them at all? What if there was one place—with real expert guidance and a plan to design and lead my business with clarity and confidence in a way that supports the life I want, and a room full of Shannons offering support, encouragement, and understanding?

Two years ago, with the memory of Shannon and Les still in my mind, I began to dream of building that place myself—the one I wished I’d had all those years ago.

Not a network. Not a mastermind in the generic sense of the word. A circle of real friends—sisters on the same journey, pursuing the Double Win together. A room safe enough that you didn’t have to play small to avoid the awkward dynamic with women at church or family events who might be unsettled by your business owner/CEO status.

But also safe enough that you didn’t have to self-censor. Where you could name your fears, your failures, the places you know you need to grow—and be met with understanding instead of dismissiveness from someone who doesn’t quite get the weight of what you’re carrying.

I also knew that women like us—women in midlife, with more responsibilities than time—don’t have the bandwidth to figure out how to create margin for the escalating demands of caretaking in this season, not to mention taking care of yourself, on their own. Let’s be honest. If you did, you would have figured it out by now.

But leading from a place of clarity and confidence in thirty hours a week without compromising results is exactly what I’ve spent the last decade doing. I’ve made the mistakes, done the trial and error, and found what actually works inside a real life where the demands at work and at home are both relentless. Now I get to hand you that path directly, so you don’t have to figure it out the hard way. It really is possible, and I want to show you how.

That’s what the Double Win Mastermind is.

Outlining the Process

It’s a twelve-month program designed specifically for women running businesses at or above seven figures, in midlife, who are done white-knuckling their way through both. The Double Win Mastermind will show you how to work thirty hours a week in your business without compromising results.

Finally, you’ll have margin for your real life—for the demands outside of work that right now probably feel like too much. And you’ll also finally have time to enjoy what you’ve worked so hard over the years to build.

To get there, I’ll walk you through a four-step process over the course of the year.

Step 1: Claim Your Role. You’ll get crystal clear on your highest-value contribution as CEO—the work only you can do—and build a concrete plan to get everything else off your plate. We’ll do that by:

  • Going deep on your unique wiring using our proprietary MAPS Index—a proprietary assessment that synthesizes all the major personality frameworks into one tailor-made picture of you, showing you exactly how to leverage your strengths and reduce your stress

  • Identifying your highest-leverage contribution: the work that brings you deep joy and satisfaction while delivering results like nothing else can

  • Formalizing those insights into a written CEO Job Description unique to you (you’ve probably never had one), which becomes a paint-by-numbers blueprint for where to spend your time for maximum ROI—and the secret to working far fewer hours without compromising results

  • Building a doable action plan for successfully delegating everything you’ll no longer be doing, even if delegation has tripped you up before

Step 2: Work on Your Business. Twelve dedicated CEO Days over the course of the year—one per month—to go deep on the problems only you can solve. The ones you know you need to get to but never do. The ones draining your energy, keeping you awake at night, driving you nuts: an underperforming employee you’ve been avoiding; a market shift that needs a response; a hire you’ve needed to make for months.

One at a time, the paralysis lifts and the open loops close—using my simple framework to systematically reduce your mental load and the downstream fires that keep you stuck in stress and overwhelm.

Step 3: Simplify Your Personal Life. We apply the same framework to your home and personal life that we applied to your business—get clear on where your presence actually makes a difference, then eliminate, automate, delegate, or simplify the rest. The goal is a home that restores you instead of just one more place with a never-ending to-do list.

Step 4: Own Your Numbers. You’ll learn a simple Monthly Owner Review rhythm so you always know where your business stands financially—even without a formal financial background—so you have the confidence to step away when life calls, without the anxiety that comes from being in the dark. It’s all templated and plug-and-play.

All of it is done with direct access to me and a small, carefully chosen group of high-capacity women operating at your level.

The program kicks off at the end of April with three days in Cancun, Mexico—our CEO Camp retreat—where we do the foundational work together. This is where you get clear on your unique contribution, build the relationships that will carry you through the rest of the year, and return knowing exactly what deserves your time and what doesn’t.

To join us in Mexico, you need to be part of the group by March 7.

One more thing: If you join before Thursday, February 26, you’ll also be included in my upcoming CEO Day training and planning session—the official kickoff of that concept for the group. It’s a tangible head start, and a chance to hit the ground running before we even get to Mexico.

Is This For You?

If you’re a woman running a $1M+ business, leading a team, in this season of life, and you’re tired of doing it alone and the hard way—this is for you. But I want to be straightforward about what “for you” actually means.

I have four discovery call spots available in the next week. On that call, you’ll speak with Deidra Romero, my program advisor, who knows the Double Win Mastermind inside and out and is the best person to help you figure out whether it’s the right fit for you right now.

Because curation of this group matters enormously—it’s what makes the room work—I’m reserving those spots for the most qualified candidates. To be a fit, you’ll need to meet all of the following:

  • You’re a business owner generating at least $1M in annual revenue with a minimum of three full-time employees.

  • You want more margin in your life and are committed to working toward thirty hours a week, wherever you’re starting from right now.

  • You’re genuinely excited to bring your expertise to the room and receive coaching and input from me and your peers in return.

  • You’re willing and able to make a multi-five-figure investment to get the margin you truly need.

  • You have full financial autonomy in your business—no partners or boards whose approval you need to execute financial or other high-level decisions. This group is for majority owners, and, transparently isn’t designed for someone functioning more like a senior executive with an equity stake. The solutions I teach require that you have full authority to act.

If that’s you, and you feel the pull of what I’ve described—don’t wait. Four spots. February 26 to get the CEO Day kickoff. March 7 to be part of Mexico. The window is short.

Cheering you on to your own Double Win,
Megan
